Dillon Beach on Marin County’s north coast is unique, not only in its beauty, but also in its susceptibility to natural disasters—earthquake, tsunami and fire being of particular concern. The town looks out on the San Andreas Fault that runs parallel to the beach. Parts of the community lie within a designated tsunami zone. And in case of fire, homes built closely together along narrow streets create special challenges.

In the event of a community-wide emergency, our Fire Department works with local residents who have been trained to assist in emergency situations. Called “area coordinators,” these people will need information about you, your house and your pets in order to properly respond in an emergency. The Registry Form provides them with this vital information. It will only be used for emergency purposes in our community. Please return your completed form to the Marin County Fire Dept., Tomales Station.
You can find the following information on the Marin County Fire Department web site.
